The institute’s new facility in Columbia, MO, will include laboratories, classrooms, and space for faculty and researchers, along with industry partners, to work on precision medicine and digital health initiatives.

The institute will be among first Midwest facilities to install the MAGNETOM Terra 7 Tesla (7T) MRI scanner. The UM System will use the MAGNETOM Terra in both clinical and research settings with a focus on furthering ultra-high field MRI capabilities.
