Northwell Health Unveils Partnership to Pilot Wellness Products
Northwell Health and Digital Gadget will release a line of wellness products to improve community health and drive care access.

By - New York City-based Northwell Health and technology distributor Digital Gadgets have announced a collaboration agreement to pilot a line of Northwell-branded innovative wellness products.
"Launching a wellness product line that will reach consumers across the country exemplifies Northwell's commitment to community health and our belief that local care and local access to care drive better health outcomes," Joe Moscola, executive vice president of Enterprise Services for Northwell Health, said in the press release. "As we strive to improve the health of communities and define tomorrow's health care, we look forward to bringing our new technology-driven line of wellness products to the market through our collaboration with Digital Gadgets."
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Digital Gadgets provided more than 30 government entities with access to critical PPE and testing products.
Through the collaboration, the organizations will utilize each other’s expertise in clinical care and manufacturing to create innovation-driven, provider-approved wellness products.
This partnership with Digital Gadgets comes on the heels of several recent partnerships and collaborations Northwell Health has undertaken to improve patient care.
In November, Northwell Holdings, the for-profit investment arm of Northwell Health, sparked an agreement with Aegis Ventures to create a virtual care startup for menopause support services.
The startup, Upliv, aims to offer telemedicine services to address perimenopause and menopause symptoms. The services will provide users access to menopause experts and health coaches, prescription and treatment options, online resources, and patient communities.
In July, Google Cloud and New York-based Northwell Health collaborated to accelerate the health system’s digital transformation using cloud technology and AI with the aim of improving patient care, clinician experience, and operational efficiency.
Under the partnership, Northwell Health will implement Google Cloud in its facilities to enhance experiences in digital scheduling, automate payer interactions, and provide intelligent summarizations of medical information.
