- Microsoft has added a digital medical reference tool from Merck Manuals to its app store in efforts to arm healthcare providers with the medical information they need within their workflows to deliver high quality care.
The free app, available on Microsoft AppSource and the Microsoft Teams app store, will allow Microsoft Teams users to leverage a shared source of authoritative medical information.
“Working with Microsoft builds on our ongoing commitment to disseminate authoritative medical information through content-sharing arrangements with innovators in the technology sector,” Melissa Adams, director of publishing for Merck Manuals, noted in a public statement.
