- One in ten hospitals and other health systems said that they have had the greatest difficulty in reducing healthcare supply chain costs as part of their cost transformation strategy.

Twelve percent of respondents said that supply chain costs are putting the most pressure on their efforts to control expenses, according to a survey of 169 hospital and health system executives by Kaufman Hall and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

At the same time, close to one-third of respondents said that they have had great success in reducing supply chain costs as part of their cost transformation strategy,
