- GE Healthcare and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) recently partnered to build a roadmap for artificial intelligence (AI) for cardiac care and develop new strategies for improved health outcomes.

The partnership, formed through the support and participation in the ACC’s Applied Health Innovation Consortium, will tackle the challenges related to atrial fibrillation management, as well as other care pathways in cardiology, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and heart failure.

The Consortium brings together academic partners,, clinical partners, industry partners, and technology partners, as well as patient advocates to collaborate in the digital transformation of healthcare and achieve trust in the development of clinical evidence and guidance.
